Welcome

Piney Creek is a new residential airpark development in Grundy County, Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau between Nashville and Chattanooga. This beautiful area is the largest remaining forested plateau in the continental United States.

The key feature of the airpark is a 3,000 foot long by 50 foot wide paved private runway centered in a 4,000 foot long by 200 foot wide clearing. The runway is the centerpiece of a 303 acre residential development which is surrounded by hardwood forest. A three-quarter mile private road meanders to the property and a 5-acre lake will be constructed mid 2008 during Phase II development. Development plans include natural wooded home sites surrounding the airstrip ranging in size from 2+ to 3+ acres.

The nearby South Cumberland State Recreation Area offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, including camping, fishing, hunting, horseback riding and whitewater rafting, as well as hiking in some of the most beautiful country in the United States.

Come experience the breathtaking beauty of country living on the Cumberland Plateau. If you enjoy flying, privacy and the backwoods of Tennessee you will like what you see at Piney Creek Air Park.
